Here are details of what you can expect when using our company...
For your convinience, you can place your order 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – via our website (preferred) or via fax (01440 762030). As our website shows current stock levels, this is our preferred method for processing your order. We prefer online as this helps us to avoid order error. It also gives you the opportunity to see stock availability, and keep updated with what products have been newly added to our catalogue. Your orders are batched each day, and processed within 24 hours. We pick, pack and despatch to you within 3 working days.
For our European Customers we batch your orders weekly, and despatch every Wednesday via Euro 48 (Parcel Force) courier service. Your order should arrive with you by Friday/Monday. Please note that if you want to have a same week arrival, please ensure your order is with us no later than MONDAY 5pm.
We accept payment by VISA, MASTERCARD, DELTA and SWITCH, subject to the authorisation of the card provider. We also accept business cheques & bank transfers – but please note that this may result in a delay with your order being processed and despatched.
We offer a discount of 1% of the value of the order for payments made by debit card.
Invoices are payable within 21 days from the date of invoice for approved account customers, after which they become overdue. Interest IS charged on all overdue accounts at 4% above THE BANK OF ENGLAND OFFICIAL BANK RATE, and no further orders will be processed until the account is brought up to date. For non-approved customers we require pre-payment with all orders. First order minimum is £200.00 (excluding VAT) with no minimum reorder value.
UK Shipping is FREE on all orders over £200.00 (within Zone 1)
Orders under £200 incur a £10 shipping charge (within Zone 1)
Zone 1: UK mainland
Zone 2: Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isle of Man
Zone 3: Channel Islands
Shipping to European Customers is FREE on all orders over £400 (= approx 600 Euro)
Orders under £400 (= approx 600 Euro) will incur a £20 (= approx 30 Euro) charge
All goods remain the property of ScrapGenie Ltd until payment is received in full.
Prices shown online are those applicable as at 1st June 2007 exclusive of VAT and shipping CHARGES. SCRAPGENIE reserves the right to alter prices at its discretion.
Goods delivered correctly against your order cannot be returned/refunded, except in the case of faulty goods. Claims of damage or missing items must be notified in writing within 48 hours of delivery. Goods are only accepted for a return/refund if they have been authorised by a member of our team (please email: WAREHOUSE.) Once you have contacted us with your query, please return faulty goods to: ScrapGenie Ltd, FAO Returns, Unit C Brocks Business Centre, Homefield Road, Haverhill, Suffolk, CB9 8QP. Please note that we cannot process any claim until the goods are received.
